Usually when its call to check product availbilty, the quantity is VERY LIMITED and theres really really little of them that they can't even sell them online.

However, I was lucky to purchase the hoth rebel base just when they went discontinued a couple months ago. The item was listed as sold out and I called them hoping there still might be some and I was lucky. They had around 30 left and I purchased 2. Next day, it was removed from shop at home listed as sold out and no more was available.

So its always a good thing to call them and check its availabilty even if it says sold out. Most of the time, it will most likely be sold out as listed but there sometimes may be a chance like me purchasing the hoth rebel base.

Hey BrickSith, you got the last ONE. I called at 6am and ordered one (they said there was only one showing up in the computer). I called the next day to see if my order went through and they said that it had been cancelled because they only had one to sell and someone beat me to it. Oh well.
