75005 Rancor Pit Gets Cheaper, Hits $48

Postby Staff » Wed Feb 06, 2013 1:13 am

75005 Rancor Pit has been more or less on discount since it debuted. It now reaches an all time low thanks to Amazon.com. They are now selling the set for a mere $48.40, almost 20% off of MSRP. Free shipping and still no tax to most states make this a great bargain.

Kept debating on whether to pull the trigger at 13%, glad I waited. Thanks for the info!

Is there a way to have Amazon send you alerts when stuff you are watching gets cheaper? I keep missing all these deals. :'(

You can try Camel. They let you set up individual alerts for items you are interested in at Amazon.

The "manual" way to do it is to add an item to your shopping cart, then go to your shopping cart and select "save for later". Say you do that for 20 or so items that you want to watch the price on, then whenever you go to your shopping cart on Amazon, at the top it will always tell you which prices of all saved items have changed since your last visit i.e. "lego set 111111 increased from $108.41 to $111.43". It's very helpful.
Don't you waste away, for tomorrow will soon be today

That's genius! I save a bunch of searches as bookmarks. Anytime I sit at my computer, I open them all. If any have a good sale going, I snag 'em.

75005 Rancor Pit Hits $48 Again

Postby Staff » Fri Feb 15, 2013 10:37 am

Forum member Darth Builder has been providing up-to-the-minute updates on 75005 Rancor Pit's price on Amazon, and it has finally sunk below $50. It is now listed at $48.98. It's .58 cents more than our previous mention, and a great deal.

Need 9516 Jabba's Palace to sit on top of it? Amazon has that for almost 20% off at $96.85.

If you go to http://www.yoyo.com and use code yoyo30, you can get 30% of 1 item. The catch is you have to be a "new customer". I just asked a friend to order the Rancor Pit for me and it ended up being $41.99 after the discount and free shipping.
