[NEW STUFF] Collectible Minifigures Series 4

Though we don't cover them in detail on FBTB, we all still love our Castle, Pirates, and Space LEGO too.

The bio-hazard guy is a custom decal away from a hazard suit from Half-Life. Swap out the heads, add some hair and a crowbar and voila, Gordon Freeman.

It could also be a custom Dave Bowman from 2001.

I agree with Chief and onions, this is the best series so far. I haven't even seen Series 3 at retail yet.

Pretty sure this will be the first series where I get all but two or three of the figs. I don't need more vikings and I'm not sure about the sailor or artist but the rest are all winners. Let's hope for even higher production runs than series 3 and multiple stores carrying them.

I haven't seen much comment on the guitar or Mohawk. If anything, those are the two elements I want the most.

I can't wait to use that mohawk and the hazmat suit in some sweet Fallout MOCs!

I just got confirmation that they will sell for the same price as series 3 (at least on a wholesale level) so that's at least some good news. I guess now we just wait and see what happens to pricing on S5.

How could anyone not want at LEAST a half-dozen of those?

I can definitely see the resemblance.

The skateboarder is handsome. It's nice to know I'll finally be able to put together a minifigure that actually looks like me.

Technical release date is May although I'm sure some retailers will have them sooner.

*EDIT*

LEGO store calendar has the release as April 15th. Also parts from Series 1 will be available through the Build A Mini in-stores...? Hope they have several hundred zombie heads.

I was hoping that Target would put these minifigures in the Easter section (since Series 2 was in the Christmas section and Series 3 was in the Valentine's Day section) but I didn't see shelf tags for them at any of the Targets I visited yesterday. There were shelf tags for the polybagged AT-ST mini, a Fire Chief set, and a Ninjago set.

Still seems a likely place for them to pop up, tho...

I love it when the closest Lego store is literally 400 miles away. Saves me money!

If they are doing THAT, they have even less excuse now for refusing to replace missing/defective parts of minifigs.

Looks like they're turning up in some Toys-R-Us'es (Illinois, Georgia & Washington)! Here's some info to help you track them down:

The UPC number for Series 4 is 673419144995

The Toys-R-Us SKU for Series 4 is 578074

The Target DPCI for Series 4 is 204 00 0463

Note: No one has reported finding them at Target yet. I stopped off at Target and had them run the UPC number. Series 4 is in their system (hence the DPCI number) but they don't have them in their warehouses or distribution centers yet. Give 'em about two weeks to start trickling into Targets.

Good luck, everyone!
