Grand Emporium name change

I recently got & completed the Grand Emporium set for my town. I would like to change the sign on front from "SHOP" to "ROB'S" for my son. I tried it the way they have it but the "B" dosen't look right. It looks more like an "E". Does anyone have any Ideas on how to make a sign or the letter "B" so it looks good?

I don't have my bricks with me, so I cannot show you what I mean, but maybe you could try seperating the "circles" of the "B" in the middle (a 1 plate gap between both circles should be enough).

This is how I would do it. Is this how you did yours? This is the way I would assume they would do a B in the style of those letters. An E would have the entire right column of plates blank.

Hmm... I can understand that. What if you swapped out the plates for a 1x1 cheese slope?

How about removing a 1x1 plate from the top right and bottom right?

So you end up with (x being a yellow 1x1 plate, o being a transparent clear 1x1 plate/tile):

How is this supported, though? Because if you built it that way, the rightmost section is completely detached from the rest, with no pieces overlapping. That might be fine depending on how it attaches to the building, but I don't have the set, so I have no idea.

Ahhh you're right - forgot that the sign is somewhat suspended and that there's no support from below.

As it stands, my idea won't work.
