[NEW STUFF] LEGO City

Though we don't cover them in detail on FBTB, we all still love our Castle, Pirates, and Space LEGO too.

Hmm. The new torso is kind of cool, the crowbars are nice, and the printed dog is, well...printed. But, I really don't need more policemen. I also find it odd that the Police Station has a helipad, but no helicopter.

Does anyone else think that the convertible doesn't exactly look dashing?

This image cropped up on Eurobricks in relation to the news that LEGO and NASA have recently signed a deal to do awesome things together, but to me this looks like a revised version of 3367 Space Shuttle from the preliminary images we saw of the upcoming City/Spaceport theme. Not sure if this 2011 City subtheme counts as the sets referred to in the NASA press release or not.

It looks like the nose is new and not that city plane one ;) That would be great since it was really a design fail.

Having any sort of prebuilt cockpit piece is a design fail if you ask me. I've always thought that LEGO planes that incorporate those kinds of pieces look like uglies.

These all look nice, although I'm not particularly into Town, myself. The new police truck is much like the old one, although I like the newer station better. The minifigure set is a great idea. (Is it just me, or does one of the criminals have a new backpack? And what is the police inspector holding in the police truck set? Is that a parcel?)

The space stuff all looks good, too.

Diggin' that bank scene. Very reminiscent of the sets I grew up with while still improving the design to modern standards.

Now that is a train I would be willing to get. Finally, another well done locomotive.

Nice find Bellicose, but it's already being discussed. ;)

Maersk is a licensed theme, so the discussion's been over in that forum for a little while. It is indeed an awesome train set though.
