I understand the move away from SW. But why Power Miner's? Why not trains? Why not castle? Why not Pirates? They have just as much, if not more, viability than Power Miner's. Without research, just experience, I would venture to predict Power Miner's to be around for about a year or two and then fizzle out like other themes (ie: Mission to Mars, KK2, Harry Potter, ect). Why not dedicate the site to Lego. RTB is not as much of a deciding factor of FBTB popularity with Power Miner's since, I believe, there are not nearly as many fans of Power Miner's as there is LSW fans who scower the net for leaked info, but I am a member here because I enjoy the Lego community that lives here. Yeah, we can discuss all those themes still, but now the site is inundated with Power Miner's. Why not dedicate the site to Lego. If we are going to change, let's change to accomodate all Lego afficionados. Just my $0.02.

Castle and Pirates already have their own dedicated communities, and trains just suck. Plus, come on, Power Miners is pure fun. And with a clear fan following LEGO will realize they can really go wild with the line. Heck, we'll probably get to help design a new one for next year like we did with Home One.

Technically that is $0.04 since you said that it was your two cents twice...

EDIT: Meetoch beat me :P

Sorry for the mathematical ambiguity...just reiterating that it is only my $0.02 for emphasis. I apologize if this threw off your calculations to revive the U.S. economy. Did I mention it was only my $0.02?

Oh, so these were the avatars Count Blokula had been working on all this time. I must say, they're a heck of a lot better than I was thought they would be.

^^^ Ha, you beat me to it! I like that they chose Meltrox and Glaciator for the avatars, as they're the only rock monsters whose intelligence isn't referred to in their descriptions. Wouldn't want to characterize a smart person with a dumb rock monster, or vice versa. :p

I think they should've categorized it by what we scored on the poll, but that would be too complicated. :p

If I may make one tiny suggestion, it would be fantastic if we had more variety with our (currently nonexistent) selection. For instance, this would make a lovely avatar, don't you think?

I could do this all day, really. ;)

Can someone please confirm whether this an April fools joke or a serious change. Now it's the 2nd of April can it be changed back to the Star Wars theme now. I'm over the joke so could we just get back to normal.

Apart from the date, what leads you to believe is a joke?

Seeing as how it's now April 2nd I would have thought most of you would have figured out that this was not a joke.
To those of you who aren't happy with the change, leave. If you can't embrace Power Miners with all their awesome power and mining equipment then clearly you don't belong here.
Star Wars stopped being cool when the Clone Wars came out.

Remember classic star wars are coming this summer !
Why leaving the theme for something that probably won't last more than one year ?
Sorry for my bad English, i'm french.

Don't be such a downer, Power Miners could easily last a couple years.
