Question with forum theme

Hi, hope I have posted in the right forum, one thing I have found hard is how to get a phpBB forum looking the same as a wordpress theme. As FBTB have done a fantastic job of getting the forum to blend in with the main theme, I was wondering how did you do it as I would like to do the same for my personal Discworld site.
