glass forum icons

I don't hate them. I don't like them either. For some reason, they just make it harder to see the colors.

They're not so bad, though, that they would compromise my enjoyment of the forums, or keep me from visiting.

Lookin' good now. Only complaint is that the red asterisk signifying your own post in a forum blends into the background of the red glass icon and looks funky. Perhaps change the color of the asterisk?

i tried masking off the asterisk but didn't like how it looked at the time. i may revisit that idea.

I found something else I don't like...

Contrast between read and unread icons is too similiar.

...they're red and blue. How is that hard to tell the difference between?
