Eurobricks is such a terrible site though... Why be like them?

If I see any more commentary of this type directed at Eurobricks, I'll warn first and ban next. The FBTB-Eurobricks "feud" is a farce. Can someone even tell me how it "started," if it ever did? Did someone just make it up along the way?

Working with one of the admins of their site on a daily basis at the model shop has shown me that we're all on the same page, we just execute our ideas differently.

My guess is that it had something to do with the fact that Euorbricks was started by a couple of former FBTBers who got their panties in a wad over RTB and seemed to enjoy punctuating their forum posts with 'FBTB sucks' for some time thereafter. But both communities have come a long way since then, and I too think it's about time any perceived grudges were dropped.

Well...certainly, if it's something you're willing to work on: tear it up! But I wouldn't expect anything to come of it otherwise.

Will there be FBTB contents and prizes in the future? Sure. But if you're going to go through this level of effort to offer a nice freebie as a contest prize, why not be original about it? Eurobricks did a cool thing, maybe FBTB can do it's own cool thing. But, as illustrated above, it's really no small thing to do cool things.
