I found a bit of a loop hole in this sale. I picked up the Republic Attack Shuttle and a small $5 town set and paid $66 for both when the regular price on the RAS is $80. I know how the sale is advertised but it is not like TRU at all to have that kind of sale, unless they have a completely new marketing team or strategy.

We're trying out something new here. Instead of having only one thread for Canadian deals, one for Australian, a few for the UK and many for the USA, we're trying to open up the boards to all LEGO fans, wherever they are from. Hopefully, you guys will be able to spot the latest LEGO deals by looking for this symbol : [CANADA].

That way, there's more chances that those deals will also be featured on the main page of FBTB.

FWIW, it was convenient to link to the one thread to see all the Canadian banter, a form of subscription, as it were, rather than following the myriad of other threads. Still, change is always interesting. No Canadian thread? So be it...

I think it's a bad idea. Searching back through one unified thread is just much simpler than looking at multiple threads over many pages. We're sacrifying efficiency for no gains in inclusiveness. Nobody wants to read about sales in "insert 12 countries where you don't reside here".

I agree with Lotus. I liked the Canadian thread, that way I didn't have to go through Target store sales threads, Australian sales information, KB Toys, Amazon and other things that did not apply to me and I didn't want to waste the time going through.
