The Straight Shooters List, Version 4
Welcome to the Straight Shooters List. Over 5 years ago the Straight Shooters list was brought in existence to help bring order to our member-to-member trades. It sought to recognize the excellence and honesty some members displayed when trading, and also to warn members of those who could do better. It was birthed by member do_not_disturb, raised and nurtured by member copyright, and brought into maturity by member Daz Hoo. Today the FBTB Trading Guild watches over it.
What is the Straight Shooters List?
The Straight Shooters List is like a community feedback list. It helps record the trustworthiness of the members who trade in this forum.
How Does Someone Get on the List?
A member who has collected at least three (3) feedback ratings from three (3) different FBTB members in the feedback thread will be added to list on its next update. If you were involved in a trade or purchase from a member, and if you considered the deal to have gone smoothly, please leave feedback for that member in the feedback thread. If you sold a set to another member, DO NOT leave feedback for that member, the feedback thread is only for sellers and traders.
Explain the List Please!
As you read through the list, two features may stand out. In previous iterations of these forums, some users chose goofy names to go by and then took advantage of new forums to redefine themselves. In these cases, their old name is in parenthesis next to thier current name. Those users whose names have remained unchanged from forum iteration to forum iteration have only one name on the list.
Also, users who continue to receive feedback after their initial three will be rewarded with a plus sign. Some users who trade a lot collect many, many plus signs. If you see a user with 22 plus sign, that means they have completed 25 trades where their trading partner posted positive feedback! Note that Reliable Smugglers (explained below) are so good they don't need additional plus signs--it would be like adding sand to the Sahara.
What if a deal wasn't so good?
The Trading Guild has a right to remove members privileges in this forum the same way they had the power to let you in. If you feel a deal went sour, or someone straight up scammed you, please PM the Chairman of the Trading Guild. (Information on how to do this can be found in the Trading Guild thread). The Trading Guild investigates alledged bad trades and takes action accordingly. Please do not leave "negative feedback" in the feedback thread or post a thread calling out your trading partner, because first this invites a public pissing match none of us care to witness, and second, it may get your B/S/T rights revoked as well.
What is a Reliable Smuggler?
A few members of our forums have demonstrated a long-term track record of excellence in community trades. We wish to highlight these people's excellence! That's all.
