My answers: I have a Nikon P500, its pretty good but not exactly what i want. I'm getting better at photography and am looking for something a little better maybe a SLR. I was looking at the Nikon V1 but its for more amateur photographers than me.

Well, I havent posted in a very long time, but kinda lurk around here still. Saw this thread and just had to chime in, because, well, Im a camera guy. The cameras I own, listed from oldest to newest:

No. 1 Pocket Kodak Junior (circa 1920's) (120 Roll Film, folding)
Kodak Brownie Reflex Syncro Model (circa 1940/50's) (127 Roll Film, TRL)
Petri 35 Color Corrected Super 2.8 (Circa 1950's) (35mm Roll Film, Rangefinder)
Nikon F2 (circa 1970)(35mm, SLR)
Polaroid SX-70 (Circa 1972)(Instant, SLR)
Nikon D40 (circa 2006)(Digital, SLR)

and that is just my cameras. Not including my 11 Lenses (Nikon F mount), my 2 speed lights (Sunpak 522, and Nikon SB-28), and tons of other random accessories (both vintage and modern)
