Real men don't buy into the "hardcore" bullcrap spewed by so many gaming sites and repeated by fanboys as "fact." Real men (and real gamers) seek out the best games, no matter what console they're on, because real men can see past the hype to the real truth: having HD graphics does not make a game fun, having fun gameplay makes a game fun. Real men know where the best games are, and those real men know that that's the Wii.

I'd prefer to have cheaper prices on systems and games I enjoy, so naturally I'm not gonna seriously tell others to buy the same stuff I do.....why would I increase demand and consequently prices for myself?

Because if you increase demand, supply will increase. Increased supply will lead to economies of mass kicking in. Economies of mass will lead to cheaper prices. This will eventually continue until the next generation game console is launched, when the whole process will start over.

Also, the more people who buy the same games you do, the more developers will want to cash in on the market, and will therefore create more games in the same vein as the ones you enjoy. Not creating a demand for a product will kill it.

For future releases yes. My comment was referring to games/systems out now, especially on the secondary market, where only demand is an issue.

I wont be around for long, but I just picked up Monster Hunter 3 and my name and id are:

Actually, I had been planning on picking up MH3 soon (possibly tomorrow). However, it's my understanding that the game has a fair learning curve and given that I've never played a Monster Hunter game before, I'll probably spend a fair amount of time with it offline before jumping into the online portion (which I've read is really meant more to come after the single player experience).

By the way, are you playing it on the Wii, because that doesn't look like a Wii friend code? I was only aware of this game being on the Wii, but I could be mistaken.

Ive never played either, so I think you are safe lol. But, so far, it doesnt seem to bad except for actually hitting the monsters

Also, this game doesn't actually use Wii Friend Codes, it just uses the names and a assigned ID number, then you can add them to your friends list in game, and find where they are.
