FBTB 3.0: Your feedback here!

It's like the old BCS, except the 2.0 makes it fancy. Wondering why you can't post here? Check out the rules and expectations, and it all should be made clear...

That means they're a guild member, one of the volunteers keeping the trade section in line.

I'm still getting used to it, but I'm liking it (I'm Black Dragon, by the way). Though it does seem to be loading slowly, but that could just be a personal issue.

I quite like it. Came out quite faster than BF3.0 did, to be sure. I approve.

And I'm glad I haven't been chased by a mob with pitchforks and torches for joining the new forums.

Here it comes...

Look, I'm sorry. It was a stupid thing to say, I should have kept my mouth shut. I just want to be a member of these forums, and not become another Aled Owen.

What are the Google and Yahoo Bots? What is a bot? :geek:

Googlebot -
http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Googlebot
- it's part of how Google search works. Yahoo Bot works in a similar way.

I think we should be able to use either the old scheme or the new scheme. Also, I think that we should be able to customize the art at the top so that when we log in, the banner is the one we personally choose. Otherwise, nice job.

Will the top banner change periodically, depicting different scenes, or remain as it is?

Having customizable top banners would be a bit excessive and unneeded in my opinion.

The new forums look really good so far, however they seem a bit bare. I don't know, that might just be due to the fact that there aren't a lot of posts yet.

What happened to set reviews?
Do they just go in the LEGO/Star Wars section again, or did we do away with them completely?
Or are they all going to be on the main page?

Given that it appears to be the only one listed in the dropdown, will a "default", non-styled version of the boards ever be made available? Or will black and red always be the only option? (Not that it isn't nice-looking; I just can't think of many other community boards that don't allow a user to choose a default phpBB style instead. Just in case.)

This will be the default style. We will be addng more styles in the future. though, i havent' decided yet if those new styles will be user selectable.

The new site looks great, the only thing I do not like is the black background. It just seems a little gloomy to me, and a user-selectable layout would be much appreciated, but I understand if that isn't convenient. The layout is just my personal preference, though, and doesn't mean it looks bad, I'll just have to get used to it. I do like the banner with Anakin and Dooku, though. Anyways, the site is looking great, and was well worth the wait. Great work!

It's a heavily modified prosilver theme that Ace has been tweaking out on.

My only immediate complaint is the new banner. Nice as it is, I don't think the depiction of somebody being decapitated at the top of every page really fits with the 'family friendly' nature of the site.
