Yes, it is funny, but there was a reason the sign was there. Changing the sign can cause problems if it was left as is.

I've never seen one of those signs with any absolutely pressing information on it, so I vote the humor outweighs the possible confusion it may induce.

For about a year and a half, there was a sign along one of the highways between Tucson and Phoenix that said

I must respectfully disagree. The zombie, nazi zombie, and raptor alerts were much more funny to me. This one is funny, but the immediacy of "ZOMBIES IN AREA, RUN!!!" puts the first ones over the top.
