I need a new camera

Hey I am looking for a new camera. this is the one we have now- http://www.flickr.com/cameras/kodak/z710_zoom/. I am looking for one with a macro function and it has to be in the $150-$250 price range.

Yours can shoot macro as close as five inches, which isn't mindblowing... but at least useful for LEGO shots and most beginner macro stuff. Why do you need a new one? Why not try getting a small tripod and try playing with yours until you're more comfortable with it?

that might work, but it is getting old, and sometimes the settings dial gets jammed, and it has problems turning on or off.

Have you tried smackin it? That works sometimes, and worst case scenario is you'll really need a new camera if it doesn't...

If that's all you are looking for, then go to Best Buy, or someplace similar, and get one. 99.9999% of digital camera's have Macro, so, go find one that is in your price range, and you are all set.

Oh, and why did you need to start a new thread, when there was kinda an existing thread, with surprisingly similar standards for camera (including price) that already existed, and you posted in?
