Billy Mays Found Dead in Home

It's like the old BCS, except the 2.0 makes it fancy. Wondering why you can't post here? Check out the rules and expectations, and it all should be made clear...

RIP, Billy
God, this is just the worst possible way to end the week. That's 4 within about 3 days of each other. I loved his commercials when I was a kid (and still do). May you continue to cleanse heaven with OxyClean, Mr. Mays.

The OxyClean guy? Not to diminish any death or anything, but not really in the realm of the other three... sad, to be sure, no more cheasy cleaning products. I guess the ShamWow will invade the airwaves even more.

Wow... Ranking celeb deaths, now? Okie-dokie...

Personally, I always found it annoying how he always had to yell for some inexplicable reason... But other than that, I thought he seemed pretty nice. Seemed like he was in every other commercial that was on TV... R.I.P.

I thought this was a joke when I first saw it. What's with all the deaths? And just like MJ, he was 50.

I'm still kind of skeptical myself.

Really? I thought this guy was on Conan a few nights ago and seemed in fine health. Did not expect this.

Apparently he hit his head on a flight the day earlier and was suffering from pains in that area. That's really weird considering I was watching Pitchmen a couple nights ago and saw an article about him in an airline magazine yesterday.

We rank all deaths, which is why some affect us more than others, especially with celebrities. My point was more of the "terrible way to end the week." Beyond that, I, alone with most everyone else, knew the names of Ed, Michael, and Farra. This guy was the "Oxi Clean or Orange Good guy." I'm not trying to belittle or diminish any death, just sayin'.

Now if this was Ron Popeil, we could lump it in to the tragic mix and lower flags to half mast.

"Terrible way to end the week" was referring to all the celebrity deaths in general. Billy was just capping it off.

He was a god to inventors. I've been watching his show Pitchmen on Discovery Channel. It's actually very interesting how they go through the process of making those infomercials. It looks harder to do, once you see the behind the scenes. I've become hooked on it, which is weird, because it's a show about commercials. So for me this was a bit more of a bummer than the death of MJ. The weird thing is he was on a commercial flight. In the second or third episode of the show, him and his business partner buy a private jet.

I'd be real worried if I was a celebrity, they're dropping like flies all of a sudden. I think with the economy, "bad things in life" has switched from groups of 3s to 4s to keep up demand. :|
