Washing minifigure capes

Postby pandabr64 » Thu Nov 21, 2013 12:03 am

Hi,

Does anyone have any experience on the best way to wash minifigure capes without damaging them? Is it possible to soak them in water, or will they get damaged? Can they be rinsed with water without significant damage? Does anyone know what they are made of?

I had to wash a whole Sith Infiltrator set. I just used very, very diluted dish soap. I gently massaged the soapy water into the cape with my fingers and rinsed gently. I also made sure to use cold water.

I didn't wash out any dye or damage the artificial fabric.

Hope that helps.
