New Pick A Brick Items and Prices

Postby nat3_th3_gr3at » Wed Apr 01, 2009 9:50 am

I was just checking out PAB when I noticed they were missing a lot of pictures, and then I noticed that, instead of 1000 bricks, they now have 1496 bricks. Some of these included a bat, quiver, cape, and lots more. However, if you want pictures of the new bricks you will have to download LEGO Digital Designer. It all sounds great, but then, as I was scrolling down the list, I noticed some price increases. Big price increases! >:( Most noticeably the minifigure bricks. My originally cheap order, which consisted of all minfigure parts, was about $5 and is now about $20 >:( I also found that you are not able to check the price of your model on LEGO digital Designer even though they are all pieces found on PAB.

I hope this changes soon!

I wondered about the butt as well. Unfortunately, the pics of the new bricks doesn't show. What is it? Wikipedia gives these alternatives:

Butt may refer to:

Butt, a tribe of Kashmir in Pakistan and India.
Butt (volume), a unit of wine.
BUTT Magazine
Butt (archery), a target for practicing archery.
Butt (sailing), to smack a sailor.
Butt joint, a woodworking joinery technique.
Buttocks
Boston butt or pork butt, a pork shoulder.
Butt-head, a fictional character from the MTV animated series Beavis and Butt-head.
Headbutt, a blow administered with the head.
"Butt Butt", a song by Monrose from Temptation.
"What What (In the Butt)," a song by Samwell.
A water butt
The remnant of a cigarette, or the cigarette itself
Stock (firearm)

If it's a tribe of Kashmir in Pakistan and India, it must be a good p/p ratio for 0.25 USD...

Ooh! And me with a new LEGO store opening in my area in just over a week. Sweet! I wonder if the price of Pick-A-Brick cups in stores has gone up.

As soon as I got home, I checked out LDD. Some interesting items in the ol' online Pick-A-Brick now:

Head for Skeleton (old school)
Princess Hair (in black - aka Marian hair)
Wig Lady Page (Irina Spalko hair)
Wig Boy
Tyre Balloon Wide 37x18
Knapsack

Mini Upper Part "No. 1479" (a cool civilian white torso with green arms and the classic space dudes on the front - might be in some of the new Agents sets...it's very similar to the one seen here)

Butt (this curiously titled object is the old school ray-gun/minifig torch)
Mini Upper Part "No. 1454" (Mr. Krabs torso)
Mini Upper Part No 1356 (modern mail guy torso)
Stubby minifig legs in brown and tan
Mini Package Holder (yeah...if it's a package of ROCKETS!)
etc., etc. etc.
Hail Space!
