Happy 80th Birthday Lego!

Postby bigospedros » Fri Aug 10, 2012 5:12 am

The Lego company was founded today, 80 years ago ... so I thought I'd make a little vig of it's founder, Ole Kirk Kristiansen (or is it Christiansen?!) making wooden toys! I hope you like it ?

Do you hope I like it or don't you? ;)

Well I do in any case, but I think it may be time for a few new hand tools from LEGO. The thought of Ole tearing into those toys with a chainsaw is deranged and rather funny.

There's a whole rack of hand tools on the walls in the building, you just can't see them. Plus, correct me if I am wrong, but they've yet to make a handsaw utensil? Even if they have made one, I don't have one and this was very much spur of the moment building :-)

You're not wrong. As I said, It's about time LEGO made a few more hand tools. It's funny that the company started out making wooden toys and they've never made a minifigure hand saw.
