LEGOland California (CA) vs. Florida (FL)

I'm considering a vacation this summer with the kids (ages 9 and 10.5). For those who have been to both parks, could you voice your opinion about which park you liked better, LEGOLAND California or LEGOLAND Florida? The kids were just at Disneyworld FL last year with relatives, so I'm leaning towards California. Feel free to consider all associated factors, e.g. price, other nearby attractions, weather, etc.
