Not really sure where to share this, as it's not my MOC, but Martin Jaspers' (as featured on BrothersBrick). Regardless of which theme normally flips your switch, I think we can all appreciate a good rotisserie.

Being available only in 3 sets (in uncommon themes) back in the late 90s, LEGO turkeys were quite rare. But they released 10193 Medieval Village this year, and so the turkey made a comeback; however, the latest turkey released is a different colour compared to the original. The original turkeys still fetch $30 a piece, but the newer one is much cheaper at around $9 each. My bet is this "chicken rotisserie" is built with the new turkeys!

Great build by Jaspers, by the way. Love how it actually lights up and rotates!

Yes, the chickens (although the piece is more commonly known as a "turkey") are official LEGO pieces too. Did you read my post above?

Wow. That's a pretty killer build for something most people would find too mundane to even remember what one looks like.

That functionality is something else. And I like how the detail covers every aspect. The scale is a tad strange though... like a huge device like that would not be on a cart, nor would the operating buttons be a third the size of the roasted bird.

That's some great carouselling action. The lighting has the dingy effect too. Sweet. And tasty.
