Printing your own decals.

Can someone describe their experiences making their own decals?

I'm think about the clear "water-slide" kind... like this: http://www.decalpaper.com/product-p/10c.htm

Any suggestions? Cheaper alternatives? Good or bad experiences?

Kaminoan has a well established library of custom decals. You might try seeing what he has to offer unless you're really set on DIY.
