Done...I'm pretty sure I blew out the curve on "Dollars spent on Lego in the last year." LOL as large as some people's incomes. XD

i don't see what's so great about the poll. it felt really insubstantial to me. yes it was good you could add your own comment on question 3, and even select previously submitted comments, but it was flawed in that you couldn't view all comments submitted. other than that, they had a few select questions on your awareness of what LEGO Universe is. nothing about our opinions on specific themes, products, shops, their website, user group participation (lug), nothing.

i suspect they were just trying to answer some key questions via the survey rather than ask enough questions to answer every conceivable question out there. You have to consider that quite a few people simply won't bother with a survey if they think it will take more than a few minutes to complete.

Well. There was a section on how to improve LEGO.com. I could only think of a permanent database where users could submit reviews (like Amazon).

But wait... since I'm now thinking about it, the website needs to be better updated. The status of popular sets sucks. I'm glad I've only tried to buy a "hot" set after it's been out for a while (I've cringed at customers paying for sets, then not getting them or receiving an e-mail that you're sarlacc out). Never did get a Republic Fighter Tank for that reason.

And I did blow 1K on LEGO last year. Yikes.

Yeah. Since I'm still thinking about it, PAB could be fantastic if the prices were more like BrickLink and with a greater piece selection. As of now, PAB blows.

And you're right. By showing the previous results, it skews the new poll. I felt disinclined to re-address previous concerns (but I did it anyway concerning quality of elements).

Still, I'm glad that they're willing to listen to our concerns.

:S Really? Must have missed that one somehow ... but I agree. My guess is that it might have something to do with having to prepare packaging in different languages for each market. That said, not sure why LEGO couldn't just create multi-lingual packages for a few different regions ...

But that exists already. On the Shop pages - just like Amazon.

Every product page has a section "Customer Ratings and Reviews". E.g. 8017 "Darth Vader's TIE Fighter" has 19 pages of user reviews.

True. But not for older sets. How about the mini-fig Y-Wing, V-Wing, 4483 AT-AT?

The reviews are there so a buyer can make a more educated decision when he purchases something. Having the reviews for something you can't buy on S@H doesn't really make a whole lot of sense.
