If my wife waited that long for every time she rolled her eyes at me, she'd just have to keep them shut.

It's when your kids start rolling their eyes that you know you're in trouble.

Well, like I said, my teenage son fills the eye-rolling quota in our house. I just figured that was normal teen behavior, though.

My daughter is only 15 months old, so I don't get eye roles as much as giggles and biting. Also, strategically deposited duplo blocks left in my work laptop bag.

I voted in all the categories yesterday (which took forever -- there are some great builds in those threads). Tonight, my brother signed in to his account because me raving about the tournament piqued his interest and he was going to go through and vote on the ships, but it wouldn't let him. Instead of the clickable bubbles, he just got the red line that I got AFTER I was done voting.

Any idea what the problem might have been?

Try the "Delete all board cookies" button at the bottom of the page.

It's also possible that the polls don't allow members to vote if they've joined after the polls were posted. I seem to recall that being an old rule, but I could very well be wrong.

Turns out that despite having joined FBTB two years ago, he has yet to make a post, and so the system has him classified as a new account, and is ineligible to vote in this round.

Will there be a thread for the father of the boys that don't win to post what they would have entered in the next round(s)?

Thank you very much Don for arranging such a great and inspiring contest, see you again soon. :D :D :D

I would recommend using the MOC showcase forum, that's what I intend to do.

CE is right... contest or no contest, LEGO is a hobby about building and creating. There is absolutely nothing to stop anyone in the contest or not in the contest from building and sharing what they want in the MOC Showcase. I encourage anyone who has an idea to put it together and share it.
