No, you can not:

minifigs must be kept whole and be an official lego released minifig. no custom figures, even if you frankenstein a minifigure out of official elements, it won't be allowed.

Sorry to keep harping on this one, but does the character have to be whole & official though the whole video? Like can you have Tony in a suit turn into Iron Man? Or a superhero fashion show where they change from their official clothes into other (non-licensed) outfits?

Ok, well... here's my video. Before you watch, please read the following:

I made it ridiculously long; so long that the app can't actually finalize the video due to RAM issues on the available iOS devices. So anyways I had to film the "quick view" thingy on the app instead of making the real thing, which really sucks. First of all, the quality is horrible even though I spent one million years trying to make everything look good; second of all I'm not sure if this is even allowed as a valid entry. So, FBTB staff, please take a look and tell me if this video will be disqualified; if it is disqualification worthy, I'll have to erase half of it or something and just post what I have. Either way it really sucks cause I've never put this much time, effort, and sheer amount of bricks into any lego creation before

EDIT: The Lego gods have answered my prayers! Due to a perfectly timed update released for the app, I was able to finalize my video, enjoy!

I love how you did the animation especially Ironman flying. And it was really funny having Tony sitting watching Hulk and Superman fighting. Very clever way to handle the action.
