Ok I just want to make sure that I am perfectly clear on the rules. As I understand it, we are allowed to use official lego stickers from sets, but we cant cut them or modify them. Correct?

I actually had the same question. Is it ok to have:

Prisoner
Bounty Hunter I
Bounty Hunter II (Sidekick/Copilot)
Droid

I kind of need/want a astromec in my MOC.

Thanks for the ruling solo, guess that kinda kills my idea for a bounty hunter/droid engineer combo though. looks like i'll have to try to blow your minds a bit more modestly than previously planned. hmmm

I have another question: I have my bounty hunter(and sidekick!) all built, photographed, and uploaded to Flickr, so can I submit just that picture for now and then go back and add the other pictures to the post, once I get them uploaded?

Just wait until you have your complete submission ready before posting it in this thread. You're welcome to post the minifigs here for now or start a WIP thread for your entry here.

Oh, well if it's ready to go feel free to submit it as soon as you want. Only the three specified pictures go in this thread though. If you have a gallery with more then just link to it in your submission post.

Sorry to be bugging you with so many questions, but I just want to make sure I'm informed. I have a couple more concerning voting.

I saw that last year you set up a thread for each match in the actuall tournament, after the top 32 had been chosen. But where do we vote out of the entire pool of submissions to get the top 32?

Also, are contestants allowed to vote in the tournament? And if so, are we only going to be allowed to vote on matches that we are not in?

The way it worked last year was that all of the entries were randomly put into four pools. The top eight from each pool then went on to the top 32 which was followed by another round of voting. Yes, you can vote for your own MOC.

Ah ok I see. So is that what people ussually do? Drop all their votes on their own entry? :P

No, you are usually allowed 4 or 5 votes in each of the early rounds and you can only vote once for a particular MOC in that round.

That makes sense. One more thing: On the voting forums, can you see the current number of vote each creation has gotten so far or are they hidden? I would think that if they were visible during voting, whatever is the top one at that time might get more votes, making it rather unfair.

They are hidden until voting closes.
