MM2014SWR Sweet Sixteen: dodge vs MotionOTheOcean

Postby Solo » Fri Aug 01, 2014 12:02 am

Round 2 (Sweet Sixteen): Speeders
Speederbikes, landspeeders, and airspeeders are all fair game. This is a simpler challenge than the opening round, but the build window is shorter. You'll only have seven days to submit your model (8/1-8/7), followed by two days of voting (8/8-8/9). The winning builder from each bracket advances to the next round.

The deadline for this round is 11:59PM PST on Thursday August 7th.

This thread is for the builders listed above. Post your submission photos in here when you're ready, and the poll will be added once the deadline passes.

Good luck and thanks again for participating!

All right Motion', game on!

"Luke Skylander wanted more. Living with his Aunt and Uncle, the Count and Countess, who gained wide renoun for their success in the moisture evaporation field, Luke found himself wanting a more exciting life. He was happy to help out with the family business when he was younger, but after hearing tales of Steamships and interplanetary adventures, Luke couldn't help but look towards the skies.

"After many seasons of work, Luke had saved up enough to purchase a used Steam-16 Skyhopper. He used the mechanical knowhow he learned on the evaporators to boost the power of his flyer. Now, when he feels blue, he jumps into his Steam-16 and blasts along the cliffs and canyons of Tattooine!"

Speedy Farthing

STEAM Trooper wrote: Goeth thee for assistance! Goeth!

Ladies and Gentlemen, step right up step right up, I present to you the Speedy Farthing, based on the Penny Farthing designed a long long time ago in a factory far far away. This state of the art "speeder" bike houses a powerful boiler and twin steam engines, and a large front wheel of course to help steer around pesky trees. Buy one while supplies last! Don't be the last steam trooper on the moon without one.
