Postby Solo » Wed Nov 27, 2013 2:00 am

This is now the polling thread for the ships shown above. This poll will be open for exactly 48 hours so get those votes in quick! You can still view the entries below. Contestants: this is a friendly reminder that no changes are allowed after the deadline, so your posts will be locked and if any of the photos in them change you will be disqualified.

This is the submission thread for the pilots listed above. Your letter this round is Q.

The deadline for this round is 8pm Pacific time next Sunday, December 1st.

Post your starfighter photos below. Include up to three photos and label them as follows: one you'd like to use as the polling image, one demonstrating the letter, and one showing your pilot in the cockpit. Standard photography restrictions apply.

Eh well new deadline or not, I was working to the original schedule...may I present...

The Q-Wing starfighter. Developed on the remote outer rim world of Elrood. The Q-Wing is a short range and lightly armed and armored fighter, utilizing a unique ion-gravitic sub-light drive that also enables short burst high speed intra system 'jumps' similar to micro hyper-space jumps without the need for a full hyperdrive system.

Background
Elma Snuffleupagus found herself marooned in the Elrood sector after a hyperspace mishap while testing for the Koensayr Corporation (thus effectively ending her employment). Elma's piloting skills helped her to quickly gain employment in the planetary defense force whose main starfighter is the Q-WIng. Q-WIng armaments consist of twin blasters and twin pulse laser canons.

...and best of luck to BrickJunky - I loved your round 1 submission. If I'm going home I'm sure it will be to a great MOC.

Thanks Trooper10 for the praise…I feel the pressure after your first ship. Such great part usage! I just finished my Q-Wing, should have the photos soon.

Jud and his restored and modified Q-Wing, which he rightfully calls "Big Betty". Originally the Q-Wing was manufactured to serve as fighter escort to larger vessels. It was quickly retired having been replaced by faster and prettier looking fighters. Jud modified it's demise by improving the thrusters and giving it a nice bright paint job. She can't help however the fact that she will always be one big girl. Features include rotating side cannon and front guns, and a removable mini fighter.

Hmmmmmm, this is a tough one.
Goth peacock or carrot cake?
Wimpy or hefty?
Tough choice...
