Mandalorian Warrior

Postby Jasbrick » Thu Apr 02, 2009 5:36 am

Hi,

I was considering a break from customising for a while to focus on MOC's however this break has had to be indefinitely postponed due to the arrival of some prototypes from Will Chapman at Brickarms. Within 30 minutes of receiving the prototypes I had decided on my favourites and put this guy together to show off the Flame Gun, which as a big Logans Run fan I adore.

So I give you my Mandalorian Warrior:

I hope you like.

I like very much. The colour and decals(?) look great. And I'm jealous of your BA prototypes. Nicely used there.

Thank you... I don't use decals. It is all paint.

Nevertheless, the paint job is pretty much so superb that it looks like decals. You really got some painting skills, mate. :)

The design of the minifig is cool, too. Dark red looks neat with grey, and all the detailing and accessories look just great.

I like it, very good paint work, I've done quite a few Mandolorians myself and I must say that yours is one of the best Mandolorian figs I've seen in a long long time. A little tip to making them even better is battle scars on the armor, it adds a little story behind each figure. For instance I had a mini-fig Mando that had 3 slashes down its chest plate that it got when fighting on Duxn, and one that had a big slash down it's helmet from a Jedi it fought on Malachor.

If you'd pay a bit more attention, you'd notice that this was posted a full two weeks before his other thread, the point of the second was to show off the companion figure to this. Relax.
