Grand Army of the Republic

Postby RenegadeClone » Sat Mar 21, 2009 2:01 pm

Hi there :)

Just some updated shots of my current army. Thanks to Arealight for his amazing sculpts! XD And of course Little Armory for his amazing hardware!
It's not the biggest collection around but I'm proud of it all the same.

Enjoy!

AMAZING!!! love all the custom troops. Is that your own mold for the Galactic Marines, or did you buy them? And did you cut Yoda's lightsaber short??

Galactic Marines? I didn't see any.

Anyway nice army(love the Kashyyyks Heavy Trooper ;) )

I wish I had an army of that size(and that many Kashyyyks), also nice selection of custom parts.

As for Yoda's saber, I think he cut it because it's too big for Yoda

Awesome collection, but I suggest you select your 3 favorite pics and link to the rest. Otherwise the admin's gonna delete your pics, and you won't like it if they do...

I'd kill for a collection of that scale--would you accept a $10 offer? ;)

Heh, I'd pay $10 for that anytime! Anyway, this is extremely impressive, your own customs blending seamlessly with official Lego clones and boy, is that a sizeable collection! Now, if only I can have a plastic scanning machine of my own...

Nice army, RenegadeClone!

I'm curious about the figure with the quad-gun in picture 17, though:

I recognize the helmet as Arealight's, but what type of trooper is he supposed to be? I can't seem to find anything on Wookieepedia (or maybe I'm not looking closely enough!).

Also, I see how the gun is made, but how did you make the backpack? I'd like to try my own, if I may.

The gunner is, I believe, from the first chapter of the second season of the animated Clone Wars show.

I have both of the animated Clone Wars cartoons on DVD, so I instantly recognized the quad-gun. However, I always assumed that the gunner was an ARC trooper in phase 1 armour. He was an ARC trooper, but I didn't really notice the different helmet before. Thanks Veers - I'll have to get some!

RenegadeClone: I still would like to know how you made the power cell backpack for your gunner, if you don't mind.

 So many clones. I would suggest to give those 327th Star Corp Troopers some kamas and waistacapes. But there is something missing - a commander. You can get commanders on http://www.clonearmycustoms.com/cgi-bin/index.pl (unless if thats where you got all those customs).

Nice! One question though, where did you get that helmet that looks like Commander Bacara's or a Heavy Trooper form Battlefront 2?
