tmnt mouser head help request.

Postby Jake's Oy » Sun Mar 24, 2013 4:02 pm

On a small scale I can't seem to find anything I can make with something that looks like jaws. I think I found a lower torso I like. I just can't seem to get something with any bite on the head.

Its for the tmnt contest. So if you are competitive don't reply. :p

If I can't get the head right I have a backup plan that doesn't use mousers, but I like them so much :(

Well, I am competitive but I want good competitors hehe XD

Anyway, you got me thinking, and I was about to go to sleep, it's late night here...
I think you should use something helmet-like for example this

Well I appreciate the sportsman like reply ^_^

I was not familiar with those helms and don't have any. I'm also not sure that I could apply them to my mouser and get the desired effect :( But I like the way you are thinking.

I've googled lego mouser and this is the only thing that pops up. Its a nice looking mouser.

But its not very choppy. My current design is kinda of cute like that too.

Other option is to make a mega mouser. I vaguely remember an episode where they made a mega mouser that actually gulped Splinter up in one bite and ran away. Its a lot easier to make something choppy at that scale :p

This design is actually from the set 79105 - Baxter Robot Rampage, I thought you would be already familiar with this and wanted to do something different, that's why I didn't mention it.

A mega mouser would be neat XD And easy to build as well!

Ah I didn't really look at that set closely; I just noted it had April in it. I pretty much dislike most of the tmnt sets and focused on getting all the turtles, shredder and Splinter for the cheapest price point >_<;

This is what I ended up going with. Its not very chompy :( But the angled hips give it a lot of flow that looks like action :)

Well, indeed! For a bad guy, I think it's really cute! XD

Good luck @ the contest man!
