[SW] Clone Mech and Cannon

Postby Dendo » Sat Mar 28, 2009 5:03 pm

Ok - this is my first MOC post, so I would appreciate honest feedback.

My first is a Clone Mech made from 3 clone battle packs.

The Clone Cannon came from my bucket o' bricks from when I was a kid. I had intended for the gear on the side to raise and lower the cannon, but it didn't work out as expected. The body needs to be improved on so as to not be as box-ish and naked looking...

Your Bricklink folder isn't public yet; you'll have to provide deeplinks* in order for us to provide feedback.

*Just keep clicking on the image you want until you only see the image, then copy the URL. :)

Both creations are very, very nice, good work. However, the mech's body seems to be a little wide- not that that's a bad thing, mind you, it actually looks pretty good, it's just that with something that wide, it seems like there should be more than 1 clone in it (Kind of like the old MTT Alt. Mod). The cannon also looks very nice, although I'm not a big fan of the technic beams, you should probably replace those with white bricks. The only trouble with that is then it would look rather plain, so you may also want to greeble it up a bit- just add a few details to break it up a bit.

Other than that, these both look very nice, I think you did a great job with them. Keep up the good work! :)
