EB CONTEST ENTRY

A: Small size vehicles
Design a vehicle with a 200 piece limit.
You must include a background story relating it to the Star Wars universe.
Max minifig count is 5.


Contest Entry: Small - 200 pieces exactly excluding Obi-wan

Title: Freeco Bike

Description: Obi-wan's speeder bike in "Trespass" (S01E15) on the iced-up planet of Orto Plutonia. http://starwars.wikia.com/wiki/Trespass

Don't just copy/paste posts from other forums please, not ever site uses the same version of BBCode and it ends up all screwy. Also, make friends with the preview button. That'll help avoid this sort of thing in the future. Edit: thanks for fixing it.

Now, I'm confused... that contest has a 200 part limit, but you say yours has 227?

No worries. And I see that you mentioned removing the extra 27 pieces now, so my question is moot.

I like it, though it seems a bit out of proportion from the show. That was one of the few episodes I caught and the engins on the canopied speeders looked larger and more sprawled out. Overall I like it though.

Totally agree. I always find it hard finding the right shaped pieces in Lego and then of course building small (and close to scale) makes it that much harder.

I've not seen the episode yet but I love your MOC! Small is good, and you've got some nice little details.

Not bad, good cockpit and rear design, but I think your nose is still to big. Maybe cut it down just to 2 studs wide?

That would take away the sliding canopy option. Not sure if can live with that.
