The Tie fighter is actually a pretty small starfighter, so I wanted to try and make an accurately sized minifig scale version. Plus I didn't want to use any of the windscreens used in the official sets. So here it is ! Yes it fits a fig !

i'm just curious why you didn't want to use any windscreens? isn't the current one pretty accurate?

Well, I think the actual windscreen part is too bulky... The old one is fine, but first, they are already great models using it, and it's a bit too large for the scale I fixed myself ^^ 6,4 meters long makes it pretty tiny starfighter, so my main goal was to be as scale accurate as I could.
