Amazon Rolls Back Price on 9496 Desert Skiff

You can forget my earlier report on this set being marked down a paltry 22%. 22% is nothing, it’s the dirt on your shoe, the booger in your tissue. The real deal is 35%. Yessir, 35%, that’s what “>Amazon has it at right now: $16.15 If you don’t got Prime, order two to reach the free shipping threshold. Or get a book or DVD, like this one.

Thanks to murphquake for the tip.

Amazon’s 20% or More off Sale on LEGO Star Wars

Amazon’s running some kind of wacky sale. I hesitated reporting on this sale because a) it’s only 20% and b) I usually find out about it only for it to revert to a higher price before I hit the publish button. Some of these deals seem to be sticking around though.

75003 A-wing Starfighter Discounted 20%

Target has put on sale their entire LEGO Star Wars catalog for this week. Savings range around 10%, nothing great but they do have 75003 A-wing Fighter on sale for 20% off at an even $20. Deal is good all week long until Saturday March 23. Got a REDCard? Save an additional 5% and get free shipping to boot.

In typical Amazon fashion, they’ve price-matched the set. If you live in a state where Amazon doesn’t charge sales tax, this may be a better deal for you if you have a Prime account or pad your order to hit the Free Super Saver Shipping threshold.

75005 Rancor Pit Drops to $44

Amazon has slashed the price of 75005 Rancor Pit down to $44.07, 27% off of MSRP. At prices like this, you could potentially build a Rancor army. He’s no Space Marine, but get a couple of them and you got your heavy infantry… just sayin’…. also, 9516 Jabba’s Palace is also still marked down 27% at $87.99.

Elrond Back @ TRU In Canada

Elrond

TRU Canada has a few nice LEGO deals this week and the first is the exclusive Elrond figure with any non-WiiU game purchase and on top of that, those games are all BOGO 50% off. With the only exception being WiiU games, you won’t be able to buy LEGO City Undercover on the 20th and get both the free Chase McCain figure included with the game and Elrond. However, if you avoided buying the LEGO Lord of the Rings videogame when it first came out in anticipation of a sale, now would be a good time since the price has dropped.

They are also offering a free 30213 Gandalf at Dol Guldur polybag with a $30 purchase of Hobbit or LotR LEGO, excluding clearance and The Hobbit boardgame. That boardgame, along with all the other LEGO boardgames, is on for 30% off and they’ve got Ninjago, Monster Fighters and Technic discounted by 20% as well.

Oh, and if you do pick up any fancy new figs, they have their licensed accessories on for 25% off if you need another minifig display case. Quantities are limited and these deals end on the 21st so skedaddle.

Amazon Slashes 75005 Rancor Pit to $44

Update: This deal has expired.

Following up on their flash sale of the Hutt’s palace, Amazon has slashed the price of 75005 Rancor Pit by 27%. It is now ringing up at $44.07! And like the palace set, I don’t expect the price to stay this low for too long so strike while the iron is hot would be my advice.
