LEGO Sales Roundup 3/7

This week’s Fred Meyer ad shows all LEGO Toy Story and Racers on sale for 20% off. Thanks to Kevin for this tip.

Also, at Aldi stores this week, LEGO MINI Racers and Creator sets are $3.99, MSRP $5.99.

Amazon.com and Walmart.com both still have 8036 Droid Tri-Fighter on sale for $19.00. Amazon has FREE Super Saver shipping on orders over $25 and no tax to most states making it the better deal. They also have 8087 Tie Defender for $44.00, down from $49.99. Not the greatest discount, but every dollar saved counts. Lastly, 5974 Galactic Enforcer is $74.99 with free shipping if you purchase from Legos 4′U’ and apply coupon code FIVOFF75 upon checkout.

Tri-Fighter Rollback: $19.00

Walmart.com is rolling back its price on 8086 Droid Tri-Fighter from $24.97 down to $19.00. From all the 2010 LEGO Star Wars sets, this set is the best value for the buck, and at $19.00 with free site-to-store shipping, you really can’t lose. I have no idea when this sale ends so snatch it up if you can.

LEGO Games Now Available

I got an email today notifying me that LEGO Shop@Home now has a few of their board games available for order. Monster 4, Lava Dragon, Pirate Code, and Minotaurus are listed as “Available” as of this writing, with only Creationary being back ordered for the time being. If you’re looking for the Harry Potter-themed game, Hogwarts, it won’t be available until August. Check out the LEGO Games

To fully maximize your discount, both items should be the same price in order to realize a 25% off overall savings. Sucky thing is is that it excludes electronics, Star Wars, and Toy Story. Still, with a lot of sets at MSRP, it may be worth checking out. And to sweeten the deal for buying online, there is FREE shipping on all orders $100 or more. Target MINIs Appearing

Target stores across the U.S. are starting to clear out their Valentine’s holiday section and prepping for Easter. Some forum regulars are reporting that they have been able to purchase two new LEGO Star Wars MINI sets, 30050 Republic Attack Shuttle and 30051 X-wing Fighter. My local stores were in the middle of the reset so stock may be rolling in by the end of the week at the latest. In addition to the LEGO themed polybags, there are also some CITY and Duplo sets. YMMV.

Oh, and I so called it.

Our love for Power Miners here at FBTB runs deep. I’m sure I could make a metaphor about that last statement and underground mining if I tried hard enough.

Anyways.

If you missed out on the Target-exclusive 8708 Cave Crusher during it’s short production run, Target.com has restocked on the item. Hit the link and do a search for “LEGO Cave Crusher” to see the product page. Alternatively, you can dial your browser to Amazon’s product page and still order from Target. Just be sure Target.com/ITC is selected as the seller. You end up paying tax and shipping, but it’s got to be better than trying to acquire one on the after-market.

Amazon once again has stock of 7669 Anakin’s Jedi Starfighter. This is a 2008 release that has been sold out at all retail channels since late last year. No tax, free shipping, this may be your last chance to score one at MSRP. Stock is extremely limited so act now.
