Just a reminder that starting tomorrow, you can order 10212 Imperial Shuttle direct from LEGO Shop@Home. Price is $259.99 USD.
Trevor Van Alst (old republic) was able to purchase series 2 Minifigures from Canada’s one and only LEGO Store in Calgar, Alberta. eddy from our forums also reports buying them from his local Walmart store. The U.S. market can’t be far behind.

Minfigures Series 2 is now available at WH Smiths stores, nationwide, subject to stock. They’re priced at £1.99 each and are usually on display at the payment counter. Ask nicely and they should allow you to search through the box using your chosen identification method (barcodes printout, iphone/android phone application, feeling the pack, using the force or just plain pot luck).
On the subject of the Series 1 sets, it appears that Asda stores are still getting stock of these or at least my local large store is. Might be worth checking out the toy aisle if you’re in one.

Toys R Us in the UK have slashed an amazing 40% off this set, which is, in my opinion, one of the stand out sets from the Toy Story 3 line. This takes the price from £49.99 to £29.99. It’s available in store and online, subject to stock. Click here to see this deal online.
Nicely complementing 10199 Winter Toy Shop, LEGO Shop@Home today announced their newest holiday-themed set, 10216 Winter Village Bakery. The set will cost you US $54.99 UK £ 49.99 DE 54.99€ and CA $74.99 and will be available starting in October. Interesting note: I accidentally had my Shop@Home country preference set to Ireland, and noticed that 10199 Winter Toy Shop was available. Could this set be making a comeback this season? I hope so as I missed it the first time around. 10216 images below the press release:

Just like the Free Alien figure offer, Toys’R'Us is giving away a free Chrome Stormtrooper with every LEGO Star Wars purchase. If you haven’t picked up any of the new summer sets, now is a good time. TRU online is offering free shipping on orders over $49 dollars as well, so you just end up paying tax. Offer good through 8/29 or while supplies last. Item added automatically to your cart. The deal specifies LEGO Toy Story 3 sets, but it seems all LEGO Toy Story sets qualify, at least online. Browse Toys’R'Us LEGO Toy Story sets.
Were you one of the unlucky unable to find any of the series 1 Minifigures? Well, depending on your stance on pricing, hassle, gas, and stress free acquisitions, EntertainmentEarth is offering preorders for series 2. A full case of 60 will run you $164.99, while a 10-pack costs $29.99. Add on tax (if applicable) and shipping, you’ll have to decide whether or not their markup over MSRP ($1.99 per minifigure) is worth not having to drive everywhere looking for them trying to get a complete set hunched over the display box with iPhone in hand scanning each barcode only to realize someone already bought all the Spartan Warriors and left a boat load of Traffic Cops.
