No I haven’t developed a stutter, It’s the best way I could think to describe Nathan Proudlove’s latest build. A custom stickered remote controlled RC made in the same scale as the licensed toy. All that’s missing is a video of it tearing down the street with a LEGO Woody & Buzz hanging on for dear life!

LEGO Shop @ Home has some new deals for the month of August.

>>100 VIP Bonus Points when you buy a 10212 Imperial Shuttle

>>75 VIP Bonus Points when you buy a 4645 City Harbor

In addition, they’ve added a bunch of stuff to the Sales & Deals section, but don’t get too excited. Most of it is hovering around 10-30%, and the items that have been in there for a while are still about the same price. Notable exceptions are the Toy Story and Female Minifigure magnet sets for $3.48 each. I am pretty sure are from the last wave of magnets before they started getting glued. About $1 a figure is nothing to sneeze at.

Free jetpack

And finally, spend $35 US/ £25 UK or more and get a free Alien Conquest Jetpack polybag.

Shop@Home “Clearance” Sale

LEGO Brand Retail

Shop@Home put a bunch of things on discount on their Sales and Deals page. Considering most of these are end of life, I’d guess they just want to try and get rid of them in order to make room for the summer sets. Either that or they’re just sitting around, collecting dust, and not making any money for LEGO. In any case, if you’re looking to stock up, these savings might be worth it to you. Some discounts are better than others. A few notable licensed set items:

Toy Story:

Prince of Persia:

There are also a couple of keychains on sale if those types of things catches your fancy.

Thanks to that guy from our forums.

that guy over in the forums spotted some new additions to the clearance section over at LEGO S@H. Some interesting keychains and magnet sets have been added, including the ones pictured above. These magnet sets are the last ones to not be glued together.

The keychains range from $.98 to $3.48. The magnet sets are either $7.48 or $10.48.

The March LEGO store calendar shows some new Star Wars magnets and keychains coming out in early March, including:

    >>Cad Bane keychain
    >>Boba Fett (8097) keychain
    >>Winter Gear Anakin, Talz, ARC 170 Pilot magnet set

Also, Andi reports finding a new Star Wars magnet set a in the Frankfurt, Germany LEGO store. This one’s got Ben Kenobi, an AT-AT driver, and a Tie Fighter pilot. They are glued, of course, but the glue breaks down in hot water, so not all is lost.
