Cinema Contest Deadline Approaching
The deadline to enter the Super Hero Stop Motion Cinema Contest is approaching fast and to make everyone’s life a little easier, LEGO has updated their Super Heroes Movie Maker app (free download) with two key improvements. Now you can upload your masterpiece directly to YouTube. Also, got some takes you want to delete? Well now you can delete unwanted projects right from the gallery. And if you have a really long movie, like over a minute and a half or so, the app will now be able to compile the entire video. You can update the app directly on your iOS device or through iTunes.
There’s about one week left to enter and your chances are pretty good at walking away with one of the two most coveted promotional figures ever made. Good luck!

Super Hero Stop Motion Cinema Contest Reminder: Two Weeks To Go
Heads up: as of midnight tonight you have exactly two weeks left to enter our current contest. That’s still plenty of time to come up with a 30 second clip so if this is your first attempt at such a challenge there’s no need to worry. The prizes provided by Lego should be enough incentive to get your creative juices flowing. You do need the free LEGO Super Heroes Movie Maker app and an iOS device to run it of course, but the rules are pretty straight forward (you can read those right here). Super Hero Stop Motion Cinema Contest
It seems like every other movie to hit the silver screen these days is about Super Heroes and you’ve no doubt walked out of a few and though: “I could make a better Super Hero movie than that!”. Well now’s your chance.
Wings of Justice Contest Winners!
The final round poll ended last night and revealed the ranks for the winning entries to the Wings of Justice Contest. Coming in first place is zhouston’s Gamma Raider, piloted by The Incredible Hulk. You just can’t go wrong with a gamma radiation powered flying battering ram:
In second place, and runner up by only a single vote, is madLEGOman’s Psionic Wave Glider flown by Psylocke. Wickedly creative design that matches the hero fantastically:
Third place turned out to be a tie between Si-Mocs’ BAT-Rotor, a nice spin on the ever popular and constantly changing fleet of Batwing variants Bruce Wane manages to build in his spare time:
…and sparkart’s W.A.R.B.I.R.D. – a decidedly hard to overlook new method for Wonder Woman to get around:
Now, normally when we wind up with a tie in the final round we make a staff poll to decide how to make the call… but this time we were feeling indecisive and generous, so both third place builders will be receiving prizes! Congratulations to all the winners and thanks to everyone who participated. This contest was a blast. Every contest we come up with pulls out all kind of creativity from everyone who joins in. You guys seriously rock. We already have a contest in the works for next month so stay tuned for the official announcement at the start of July.

Wings of Justice Poll Is Live
Last night was the deadline for entries and now the first poll is ready to go. We have 52 competitors that you’ll have to narrow down, so stop by this thread to pick your favorites. This first poll will run for one week, and you can select up to five entries. The five top ranked models will move on to the final round of voting next weekend. You can see each of the competing builds below… there’s a lot of variety and some very odd aircraft so the voting should be interesting. Cheers to everyone who participated and good luck in the poll!

As of midnight tonight you’ll only have five more days to submit your model for the Wings of Justice contest. Lots of fun designs so far and we’re sure to get some more competition in the last stretch like we usually see. I’m really looking forward to the final lineup. May Contest Announcement: Wings of Justice!
Wheels of Justice turned out to be a really cool contest, Avengers opens nation wide tomorrow, and the new superhero sets are already hitting shelves… so the timing just feels perfect for… drumroll please… Wings of Justice!
Your task: pick a superhero and build them an aircraft to fight crime in. See below for the specifics. First place is a brand new 6869 Quinjet set, but that’s not the only prize on the line. The contest will be open from midnight of May 3rd through 11:59pm June 2nd (PST) and is open to everyone in the world.
