According to the news report here (translated), LEGOLand Germany will have a special diorama section in Miniland devoted to LEGO Star Wars. Not only that, but it seems that it will be at minifig scale instead of the usual miniland scale. The new section is scheduled to open in June 2011.
Thanks to minicoop for the news!

At set which has, to my knowledge, not yet been available in the UK is now up for grabs at your local Toys R Us store. All you need to do is spend £20 or more on Toy Story Lego set. Add into the mix here that they’ve reduced their prices on most Toy Story sets and you’re onto a winner.
Promo set is collected from the Customer Services desk when you present your receipt (in my experience).

Originally it was going up for sale November 1, but it’s available now. If you order in the next couple of days, it qualifies for free shipping and Double VIP points!
I just found out that the owner and founder of Bricklink has passed away, Daniel Jezek. Probably one of the greatest assets to the community, it’s hard to imagine what the community would be like without Bricklink. No other site has had such a profound impact helping AFOLs and TFOLs alike realize their dreams in LEGO form. My heart is heavy this day.
Bricklink will continue to operate by his surviving family and the existing site administrators will continue in their respective roles. For more information, you can view the Dan Jezek page on Bricklink.
A couple more UK sales to tempt you out of your hard earned moolah … with 25% off Toy Story toys at Argos and Sainsbury’s having a 50% sale on all Toys.
Now, on that last one, Sainsbury’s did this last year and most Lego went immediately out of stock on their website, so you’ll need to take pot luck on what’s in your local store. Please also keep in mind that Sainsbury’s often set their prices higher than the RRP so the potential savings might not be quite as good as think, even with 50% off!
If you’re out and about and find yourself in the DVD section of whatever store you happen to be in, be sure to pick up The Clone Wars Season 2 out on DVD and Blu-Ray today. Amazon has it listed for $41.99 with no tax to most states and free shipping. So if you can score a better deal than that, go for it.
