Merry Christmas

I realize I should be posting this 12 hours or so earlier, but the rush of the holidays found me out and about since early this morning til now. I just wanted to express a heartfelt Merry Christmas to all of you. And if Christmas isn’t your thing, then I hope the holiday you do celebrate was just as Merry. Santa brought me lots of new LEGO, a Wii, Hot Rodimus with Syaosyao, and an iPod shuffle. I hope your holiday was full of cheer. Merry Christmas!

Hot Threads

Friday passed and I missed my update. So here we go a few days late.

  • Clone Trooper Battle Pack Review – A very nice review by Darth’s Daddy on one of the new Battle Packs. These are popping up in stores, but go very quick.
  • UCS B-Wing Fighter – Check out this very impressive UCS version of the B-Wing made by OceanBlue72. Nice Job.
  • Classic Space Color Scheme – A thread for those Classic Space lovers. Discuss your take on how the Classic Space theme should look if it was ever brought back.

Just have a few this week

Pre-order The Battle Packs

Okay, a few days ago when I said “the entire January 2007 line up for LEGO Star Wars (and other themes) is now available online and over the phone” I was half telling the truth. Two items which LEGO Star Wars fans have been clamoring for since the inception of the line were not available, namely the Battle Packs. They are, however, available for pre-order at Starwarsshop.com. The two sets are 7655 Clone Troopers Battle Pack and Droids Battle Pack for $9.99 each. Just a matter of time before LEGO S@H gets theirs, but as of 1:27pm Pacific Time, the site’s not even functional for me to check.

Stormtrooper Battle Pack, you will be made, oh yes, you will be made….

Another week, another winning custom

With an overwhelming 695 votes out of 1080 cast, Craig Stevens boasts the Custom of the Week with his impressive Millenium Falcon model. Everybody say “Ooo…” and “Ahh…”

Continuing the theme of last week’s competition, and to remind you of the current FBTB Contest this week’s lineup features another 4 super-sized customs. In this fight, size matters.

Who is your favorite? The contenders are Joe Klang’s AT-AT, Brian Tobin’s AT-ST, Roger Rothhaar’s Blockade Runner, and Darth Inky’s Deadnaught.

Make your decision and vote now!
