New Poll

Last week’s poll results shows that most everyone wants an Ithorian. LEGO should just buy Robert Martin’s mold. Seriously. The rest of last week’s numbers breaks down as follows:

  • Momaw Nadon – 334
  • Muftak – 99
  • Kabe – 42
  • Ephant Mon – 161
  • Figrin D’an – 192
  • Nabrun Lieds – 46
  • Labria – 28
  • Takeel – 29
  • Duros – 121
  • Kitik Keed’kak – 70

This week’s question: Peach or yellow?

Kim submitted her son’s mocs, but didn’t tell me his name or the name of some of his creations. So I made some up with the help of friends.

Due to a clerical error, the poll for the 6208 B-wing Fighter Alternate Model contest has been reset. You may vote anew.

Also, it’s been suggested that with so many great models and only one vote to go around per person, that the top 5 vote getters have a final round of voting. I’ve been convinced of the merits of the idea. So, round one voting will last 7 days. At the end of round one, 5 contestants with the most number of votes will go on to the next round. Round two voting will last 7 days as well, after which a winner will be declared.

Toys R Us is having a special BOGO sale. The sale is different depending on where you shop:

Brick’n’mortar: Buy 1 set, get a second set for 50% off on all LEGO

Online offer 1: Buy 1 set at $9.99, get a second set of the same value for 50% off. Use promo code TYRTTLEGOTYS to redeem.

Online offer 2: Buy 1 set at $19.99, get a second set of the same value for 50% off. Use promo code TYRTTLEGOTY2 to redeem.

Once you figure in tax and shipping, the deal may not be that great. Probably a good deal if you get some things at the $19.99 price point. The Star Wars stuff? Clone Scout Walker qualifies at $9.99, and the TIE Interceptor qualifies at $19.99.

Shop at Amazon/TRU.
